One Stage. Three Stories. A Masterclass in Transformation. When a client gives you one focal element and sks you to tell three differen stories with it—you don’t just decorate, you design a narrative. In my head I worked on it as if it was theatre. This wasn’t just a backdrop. It was a canvas. A stage that transformed with each ceremony, flowing seamlessly from one celebration to the next—all while anchored in one physical space.
Act One: The Engagement – Autumn in Turquoise For the engagement, I paired a soft turquoise base with the rich, earthy hues of an autumn Pantone. Think cinnamon, copper, and blush melting into that serene turquoise—a palette that whispered quiet elegance and transitional beauty. The look was fresh, understated, and warm—like a love story just beginning to unfold.
Act Two: The Wedding – Fuschia Royalty with Indian Soul Then came the wedding. The same space now exploded in a bold fuschia Pantone—vibrant, celebratory, and commanding. Elephants marched into the décor—ornate, regal, and unapologetically Indian. Jasmine and roses cascaded in fragrant layers, while terracotta diyas flickered softly, grounding the space in tradition. The backdrop bloomed with heritage and festivity—
echoing chants, rituals, and the joy of union. It was a moment of colour and culture, of sacred ceremonies wrapped in a wildly beautiful palette. And yet, the same focal point stood—reborn, reimagined, and utterly unforgettable.
Act Three: The Reception – Emerald Elegance with a Crystal Crown By the time the reception arrived, the scene had transformed once more. This time, I spun pure luxury into the frame. Emerald green swept across the setting like velvet night, accented by glistening crystals cascading from soaring heights. Drapes danced like waterfalls, and light bounced off every surface in emerald shimmer. It was opulence redefined—a grand finale to a majestic trilogy. Three Events. One Heartbeat.
Each event told a new story. But the magic lay in how the design was used not just to decorate—but to shape memory. The focal element stayed the same, but it never once looked the same. Because when creativity meets intention, even a single stage becomes a universe of wonder.
